On the edge of the Peak District National Park excellent walks & cross country cycling paths are available from the farm, with fishing, horseriding, & many other sports very close to hand. Macclesfield Golf Club borders the farm, while Tytherington, Mottram hall, Prestbury and Wilmslow are all within 20 mins drive. There are several well known local pubs in the area providing excellent restaurant meals. Langley has a Methodist chapel and Sutton St James is Church of England. Public transport There is a regular bus to Macclesfield (2 miles). Macclesfield has high speed rail links to London, Birmingham, and Manchester and both Manchester & Liverpool airports are within easy reach. Shopping Macclesfield has 2 large supermarkets on the edge of town and a good selection of chain stores in the town centre. However, the town is also served by several high class traditional butchers selling locally produced meat, and specialist delicatessens andan excellent fresh fish shop. The Waitrose on-line service “OCADO” delivers to our farm (we also supply some of their Aberdeen-Angus Beef!).
